My Italian Greyhound art Illustrations by Rune Spaans of Norway
The My Italian Greyhound art Illustration collection by Rune Spaans of Norway is a coming together of worlds. Think: Nancy Drew meets Sin City. You can find a whole host of work by Director / Designer Rune Spaans here: http://www.superrune.com/
Rune did the Italian Greyhound art image 3D renderings, the only non-rendered images are of the main ‘character’ and she was photographed by Evy Anderson. The two worked on a project called ‘Adam & Eva’ in 2005 and collaborated again on this project. The My Italian Greyhound images were commissioned by Zetlitz, a musician, for her album cover. She gave the team free range on the project and then went back and forth with the record company to make sure it was just the type of look and feel they wanted for her image.
The amazing Italian Greyhound art image above, a 3D rendering by Rune Spaans, would make an amazing real life sculpture. The gold undertones and shiny black outer layer do meld the Nancy Drew and Gotham City or Sin City feel.
Above is a photo (with 3D rendered background) of Zetlitz.
The lonesome gold Italian Greyhound is sitting at the entrance way and guarding his city. To me, this looks like something out of Batman but here the Italian Greyhound is protecting the town.
